Seattle Area Oppo Meet: A Reminder!

Eyo! Seattle Area Oppos! This is a reminder that we will be having our first little get together this Saturday! It's early in the morning, prior to the start, and during the Exotics at Redmond car show. This is at Redmond Town center (RTC) in Redmond, WA!

I will try to be there at 7:45-8ish, and save some spaces for us in the only manner a German car driver can.

...by illegally parking over 4 of them!

Now, I do understand one more thing. If it rains (which, this being seattle there's a permanent 92.8% chance of it happening...) we will call it off until next Saturday. so if it rains on the 11th, the meet will take place on the 18th. same place, same time! :)

Hopefully it doesn't, and I get to meet you awesome people this Saturday!!!

I'm not sure if this is really the "first" Seattle Oppo meet, but more power to you! I went out to the last one at Golden Gardens and all I found was a bunch of teenagers smoking weed in their half-kitted S13s...not saying that was the Oppo meet, but that's all I found.

If I get out this Saturday, I'll be headed to Paine Field where Historic Flight is showing off their Gee Bee Super Q.E.D. II and doing a presentation about WWII fighters.

Now I'm curious. What makes one meet "legit," and not another? Granted, I'm not inclined to call a bunch of stanced imports with bubble shifters and tow hooks "legit" for any set of criteria...

because this is the first time (that I know of. correct me if I'm wrong here) that oppo's in the Seattle area decided to get together in an organized manner on a set date, at a relatively set time. also, due to weather, a backup plan was created
